FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 05, 2012 - Threeline Imports, Inc located at 14A 53 Street, Brooklyn New York, 11232 is recalling KYPOYKA BISQUIT in a 21.16 oz cardboard box because it may contain undeclared eggs. Consumers who are allergic to eggs may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.
The recalled KYPOYKA BISQUIT in a 21.16 oz cardboard box, container code 072611 042612, were sold in New York State and Florida.
The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors and subsequent analysis of the product by the Department Food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of undeclared eggs in KYPOYKA BISQUIT which did not declare eggs as ingredients on the label.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. Consumers who are allergic to eggs and purchased KYPOYKA BISQUIT are urged to return them to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions may contact the company at (718)439-1700.
