S&M (U.S.A.) Enterprise Corp Issues Allergy Alert On Undeclared Eggs In Rain Swiss Roll (Banana Flavor)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 14, 2011 - S&M (U.S.A) ENTERPRISE CORP, 4703 2^nd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232, is recalling RAIN SWISS ROLL (BANANA FLAVOR) because it contained undeclared eggs. Consumers who are allergic to eggs may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.

The recalled RAIN SWISS ROLL (BANANA FLAVOR) was distributed nationwide in an uncoded 160 g cardboard box. It is a product of China.

The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors and subsequent analysis of the product by Food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of eggs in packages of RAIN SWISS ROLL (BANANA FLAVOR) which did not declare eggs as an ingredient on the label.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

Consumers who are allergic to eggs and purchased RAIN SWISS ROLL (BANANA FLAVOR) are urged to return them to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 917-662-7995.
